NO PICTURES BUT YOU HAVE IMAGINATION, DON'T YOU?

I am using our new laptop, which we were going to get anyway, but my dumb accident hastened. Eventually I will get so I can get pics from the network, but I will probably be able to get downstairs easier before that happens. Soon I will post pics of my new turtle shell (back brace) and my sweet hospital bed and walker (borrowed from a generous Crae and Laurie). And even though this blog (and life in general) is all about me, I will post pics of the kids and blog some about our fun outing to Mackay. There were moments during the last three weeks (lucid ones, mind you) where I thought alot about being on the receiving end of service, about faith, and about grace. Then I'd realize that they were too personal to share yet. Mere words cannot express the gratitude I feel for everyone who's helped me. I'm still ashamed about how much some of you have helped me and I feel that I don't dare talk to you until I pay you back or figure some way to properly thank you. Or at least be able to not cry when I think about it.
I guess my plan to be humble enough without the Lord's help to avoid having trials had it's flaws....:)

Oh my gosh Tonya! What happened!
I am so sorry to hear about the huge trial in your life. But it sounds like you have an AWESOME ward family helping you out.

I hope you will be able to share more soon, with us. You're in our prayers.

Tonya I am glad to finally read a post even without pictures and I am super glad it is about you. Hope you are feeling better and able to do more everyday. P.S. can't wait to see the turtle shell.

I want to see the turtle shell too. I bet it's super stylish and if not I'm sure you've found a way to rock it! Let me know if you need anything. I need an excuse to get me to drive up there and return some cute little PJ's that were borrowed.

Lynn, I fell off a ladder painting our porch. It was only 5-6 feet, but I landed on cement and burst my L1 and compression fractured my T11 and
T12. I was in the hospital for a week and this is the start of week 3 in bed at home. I have a check up tomorrow. Thank goodness there was no nerve damage or surgery required. Could've been much worse. :)

And everyone else, I'm too chicken to pimp up my brace. What if I make it so it doesn't go with everything? White is so safe....

I think just a little zebra stripe would go with everything! You chicken? I don't think so. I really miss your great personality and fun comments. I hope you are feeling a little better each day.
